Day 2 will be an exciting one for which we will leave early in the morning and drive 29kms up to Pagna Village, a small hamlet in the nature’s lap. After grabbing our breakfast from the village, we will begin our trek towards Jhinjhi Village which is 6km from the previous one. Passing through the forests and vegetation and keeping a rhythmic speed we will reach the camp before the sunset. This would be last point to have shops and civilization to the closest. Buy your last minute purchases and sleep early because tomorrow is a challenging day.
Wake up early and wrap up your camps and bags and prepare yourself for a steep hike towards Gochal Gufa. Today we will walk about 10kms and witness nature in it’s various forms. Bugyals, fresh flower beds, lush green pastures and water sources making the loudest sound you could hear in the entire valley. Camp at Gochal Gufa and keep your spirits high. Keep up with the guide and follow his footsteps as mid way a trail diverts towards Lord Curson Pass as well and you may follow the wrong path.
Today we will reach our destination Saat Taal. Surrounded by huge mountains and at the base of Nanda Ghunti Peak rests a beautiful lake devoted to Lord Shiva. We can consider today to be an easy day, as we will camp back at Gochal Gufa and there will be no need to carry our camps and bags up till Saat Taal. Today we will have enough time on ourselves to relax and breathe at the final destination, take pictures, meditate, make memories, and maybe stretch a little while you see the mesmerizing view of Nanda Ghunti Peak. After spending enough time at the lake we will head back to Gochal Gufa and camp there after walking a total distance of 12kms.
Walking down is easier than climbing uphill, so today we will head back to Pagna village and from there to Pipalkoti. Don’t forget to bring your trash back along with you as nature has a lot to give to us and we should respect it by not littering around and increasing the carbon footprint. Please, be responsible. Rest at Biotourism Park at Pipalkoti and cherish the days spent in the lap of the nature away from the hustle and bustle of regular days.
Today is the day when we say Goobyes to the team and leave for Rishikesh to head back to our lives but if you got some time in your hands and want to explore a little more then do visit Chopta, another beautiful hamlet.
