Himalayan Dhoora – Company Policies & Terms
This document outlines the official policies, terms, and conditions of Himalayan Dhoora Adventure Company. All participants booking a trek, expedition, or travel package with Himalayan Dhoora are expected to read and agree to these policies before confirming their booking.
1. Booking Policy
- A minimum 30% advance payment is required to confirm any trek or travel booking.
- The remaining 70% balance must be paid before the trip start date.
- A booking is not considered confirmed until the advance payment is received.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 30 days before the trip start date are eligible for up to 70% refund.
- Cancellations made 20 days before the trip start date are eligible for up to 40% refund.
- Cancellations made within 15 days of the trip start date are non-refundable.
3. Weather & Natural Conditions
- The Himalayan region experiences unpredictable weather conditions.
- In case of landslides, road blocks, heavy snowfall, or other natural disruptions, itineraries may change.
- Himalayan Dhoora is not responsible for delays caused by natural conditions.
4. Health & Fitness Policy
- Participants must be physically fit for trekking and high-altitude travel.
- Guests with serious medical conditions (heart issues, asthma, etc.) must inform the company before booking.
- A medical certificate may be required for certain treks.
5. Safety Policy
- All participants must follow the instructions of the trek leader or guide at all times.
- Entering dangerous areas without permission is strictly prohibited.
- Adventure activities involve risk, and participants must accept these risks.
6. Behaviour Policy
- Alcohol abuse, drugs, or inappropriate behavior during the trip is strictly prohibited.
- The company reserves the right to remove any participant from the trip for misconduct.
7. Environmental Responsibility
- Himalayan Dhoora promotes eco-friendly and responsible travel.
- Participants must not litter or damage the natural environment.
- All trekkers are expected to follow the Leave No Trace principles.
8. Customer Data Policy
- Himalayan Dhoora may collect basic information including Name, Phone Number, Email, Address, ID Proof, and Emergency Contact.
- This information is used for booking confirmation, permits, safety coordination, and communication.
- Customer data is kept secure and will not be shared with third parties except when required for government permits or legal requirements.
9. Photo & Video Policy
- Photos and videos taken during treks may be used by Himalayan Dhoora for promotional purposes.
- This may include use on social media platforms, website, advertisements, and marketing materials.
10. Insurance Policy
- Participants are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance before joining the trek.
- Adventure travel insurance is recommended for high-altitude activities.
11. Liability Policy
- Himalayan Dhoora is not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by natural disasters, road conditions, or transportation issues.
- The company is not liable for personal injury resulting from participant negligence.
12. Agreement
- By booking a trek or travel experience with Himalayan Dhoora, participants confirm that they have read and agree to all policies and terms mentioned in this document.
