Trek Overview
Aadi Kailash (also known as Chhota Kailash) and Om Parvat are among the most sacred and spiritually powerful destinations in the Indian Himalayas, located near the Indo–Tibet border in Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand. Om Parvat is world-famous for the natural formation of ॐ (Om) on its snow-clad face.
This journey is a perfect blend of spirituality, nature, adventure, and Himalayan culture, carefully designed and operated by Himalayan Dhoora, a professional trekking & adventure travel company.
Pickup & Drop Details

Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Rishikesh → Karnaprayag → Bageshwar → Patal Bhuvaneshwar → Dharchula

- Continue journey via Ghat–Dharchula road

Day 2: Dharchula → Gunji
- Breakfast at hotel

- Drive along the Kali River (India–Nepal border)
- Reach Gunji village
- Acclimatization walk

- Distance: ~70 km | 5–6 hrs
- Temperature: 5–15°C

- Gunji is a remote army-controlled village. Only basic homestays are available. Luxury hotels, strong electricity, and hot water facilities are limited.
Day 3: Gunji → Kalapani → Om Parvat → Nabi Village
- Early breakfast
- Drive to Kalapani
- Visit Om Parvat View Point for sacred ॐ Darshan
- Continue drive to Nabi village
- Evening village walk & local interaction
- Dinner & overnight stay
- Distance: ~45 km | 4–5 hrs
- Temperature: 3–12°C
- Altitude: 3,600 m
Om Parvat Darshan Information:
- Om Parvat is visible from approximately 1.5–2 km distance from the designated viewpoint.
- Climbing or going close to the mountain is not permitted.
- Darshan depends on weather; fog or clouds may block the ॐ shape.
Day 4: Nabi → Jyolingkong (Aadi Kailash) → Gunji
- Morning drive / short trek to Jyolingkong
- Aadi Kailash (Chhota Kailash) Darshan
- Visit Parvati Sarovar & Gauri Kund
- Return to Gunji by evening
- Dinner & overnight stay
- Distance: ~40 km | 5–6 hrs (including walk)
- Temperature: 0–10°C
- Altitude: 4,200 m
Aadi Kailash Darshan Information:
- Aadi Kailash is visible from approximately 300–400 meters distance.
- Going close to the mountain is not allowed.
- This is a darshan-based trekking yatra, not a temple visit.
Day 5: Gunji → Dharchula
- Breakfast
- Return journey via the same scenic route
- Free evening at Dharchula
- Dinner & overnight stay
- Distance: ~70 km | 5–6 hrs
- Temperature: 10–18°C
Day 6: Dharchula → Bageshwar → Karnaprayag → Rishikesh

- Drive back via Ghat – Bageshwar – Karnaprayag – Devprayag
- Evening arrival at Rishikesh
- Tour concludes with divine memories
- Distance: ~520 km | 14–15 hrs
- Temperature: 15–25°C
Optional Buffer / Contingency Day (If Required)
This day is reserved only as a backup day and will be used only in case of:
- Bad weather conditions
- Landslides or road blockages
- Heavy traffic or army movement
- Extra acclimatization or rest requirement
- Normally, the tour is completed within 6 days but in some case like trek fatique and weather conditions it may take 8 days.

- Aadi Kailash region is a high-altitude Himalayan area:
